The Freedom Tee was a collaborative design with our long-time supporter, Jesse @soberleadslinger. He has been sober since January 2, 2023. He currently rides a 2015 Fat Bob, a 2023 Ultra, and a Yamaha with a side car for his service dog.
"I joined the military in 2003 and started my career as a medic. I spent my first few years in Fairbanks Alaska and went on my first deployment to Iraq in 2005. I spent a year in Mosul working in Combat Support Hospital. In 2007 I moved to JBLM and was assigned to 2-1 Infantry Battalion. We deployed in 2009 to the Arghandab river valley in Afghanistan. We lost a lot of good men that year. I moved to 1-17 Infantry Battalion when my buddy was hit by an IED. We redeployed in 2010 and in 2011 I went to Germany where I deployed back to Afghanistan in 2012. That’s when I bought my first bike. Sight unseen. When I went home on leave to Washington, that was the only transportation I had. But I got addicted to it. In 2013 I went back to Germany and got orders back to JBLM. I spent 4 years there and got orders to Korea for a year. Then the Army sent me to San Antonio. That’s when my mental health declined and was medically retired with 18.5 years in."
He started his Instagram account @soberleadslinger, "With Sober Leadslinger, my goal is to transform the firearms community by establishing a safe space for individuals to thrive in their sobriety, drawing inspiration from Ridexsober’s outstanding efforts. I strive to create an environment that encourages and supports open discussions about sobriety."
